1. Introduction

Welcome to NexusTournaments. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using NexusTournaments, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the service.

2. Account Registration

To participate in tournaments and engage with our community, you must create an account. When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in suspicious activity.

3. Tournament Rules and Conduct

When participating in CS2, TF2, and Rust tournaments and events on NexusTournaments, you agree to:

  • Follow the specific rules for each tournament
  • Compete fairly and not use cheats, hacks, or exploits
  • Respect other players and event organizers
  • Arrive on time for scheduled matches
  • Accept the decisions of tournament administrators
  • Not engage in intentional disconnects or delays

Violation of these rules may result in disqualification, forfeiture of prizes, and/or suspension from future events.

4. User-Generated Content

When you submit content to NexusTournaments, including team profiles, comments, or forum posts, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, copy, modify, and display that content in connection with our services.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. You may not submit content that:

  • Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
  • Contains hate speech or promotes discrimination
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Contains malicious code or links
  • Impersonates other individuals or entities
  • Violates the privacy of others

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable.

5. Intellectual Property

The NexusTournaments platform, including its logo, trademarks, content, features, and functionality, are owned by NexusTournaments and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not use, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of our content without explicit permission.

NexusTournaments is not affiliated with Valve (CS2/TF2), Facepunch Studios (Rust), or their parent companies. All references to CS2, TF2, and Rust, including gameplay elements and assets, are the property of their respective owners.

6. Payments and Refunds

Tournament entry fees and other payments are processed through our secure payment system. By making a payment, you agree that:

  • You are authorized to use the payment method provided
  • You will provide accurate payment information
  • Fees are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise
  • We may offer refunds at our discretion for canceled events

Prizes are awarded according to the tournament rules and are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NexusTournaments shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with your use of our platform.

We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for losses resulting from:

  • System failures or outages
  • Network connectivity issues
  • Unauthorized access to your account
  • User errors or misunderstandings
  • Third-party actions or content

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of NexusTournaments shall be resolved through:

  1. Informal resolution attempts by contacting our support team
  2. Mediation if informal resolution is unsuccessful
  3. Binding arbitration as a last resort

These dispute resolution procedures shall be conducted in English and governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which NexusTournaments is based, without regard to conflict of law principles.
